Where The Hunts Take Place
Captain Mike hunts the entire Wisconsin shoreline of Lake Michigan and Green Bay. He scouts extensively to keep you on the birds. Although he generally know 48–72 hours ahead of time what the weather will do, Captain Mike makes the final call regarding hunting and launch location the night before the hunt.
Age & License Requirements
Captain Mike does not place an age restriction on fishing and hunting guests. If you are comfortable bringing your child, they are welcome. Hunters must be of legal age and are required to hold a valid Wisconsin Hunting License (includes the appropriate Hunter’s Safety Course as required by the State of Wisconsin), a Federal Duck Stamp, a State Duck Stamp, and the HIP registration. Things To Bring
Snacks, drinks, hand warmers, waterproof weather appropriate clothing, rain gear. Preferred outerwear would be gray or gray camouflage patterns. Examples of preferred patterns are Sitka Optifade Timber, Elevation II or Open Country. Mossy Oak Timber and Simms also have some great gray options.
Please also bring a change of clothes to leave in your vehicle in the event you are wet through your outer layer upon return to the launch. Please bring your own gun and shells. You will need at least 4 boxes per day of hunting. Steel #4’s or #3’s are preferred for non-toxic. You can go as small as you are comfortable with for killing ducks inside 40 yards and as close as 5 feet. You may also bring a small blind or shell bag. Space is limited, so please leave oversized blind bags in the truck.
What I Provide
Fowl Dawg provides the boat, decoys, layout rigs, safety equipment, and gear necessary to complete your hunt successfully.
Some Things to Consider
Lake Michigan is a very large body of water. Please consider your susceptibility to motion sickness. Nothing halts a fun hunting trip faster than getting motion sickness. Please do your part to ensure the fun of everyone on the trip and take the necessary precautions to prevent motion sickness.

- All prices are subject to change without notice. Please confirm pricing when booking.
- An additional gas surcharge may be added in the event fuel prices at the marina should suddenly rise.
- 50% deposit is due at the time of booking your trip unless otherwise specified.
- Add 5.5% Wisconsin sales tax to all of the trips.
- Gratuity not included.
- Cash, Venmo, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are the only forms of payment accepted.
- A 3.5% convenience fee will be added to your bill for all credit card payments.
- Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another date during the same season provided the transfer is completed 30 days in advance.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the FULL price.
- Late arrivals and/or charters cut short due to motion sickness are charged the FULL price.
- No refunds on any gift certificates.
